BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Malaysia. I enrolled my undergraduate study in Bioprocess & Chemical Engineering at Hiroshima University, Japan in 2004 and graduated in 2008. I was then employed at the University Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia as a Tutor. During this time, I took study leave for two years and received my Master’s degree in Food Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia in 2013.
RESEARCH
My research involved investigating particle coating, which is one of the main techniques used in the food industry. The fundamental mechanisms of liquid-particle contract spreading in a tumbling drum were investigated, as well as the coating mechanism in a fluidised bed coater. This project was in collaboration with Procter & Gamble.
