Biography
I was born in Iran and graduated from the University of Tehran in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. I continued my studies at the University of Tehran and obtained a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry in 2024. During my master’s program, I worked on innovative research projects, including the ‘’prediction of photodetector responsivity using machine learning’’, culminating in a publication with the same title in Wiley Advanced Theory and Simulations (2024).
In 2025, I joined the University of Sheffield as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Professor Rachel Smith. My PhD program, titled ‘’Cyber-physical Systems for Medicine Development & Manufacturing’’, focuses on integrating hybrid mechanistic and machine learning models to predict the performance of pharmaceutical products.
Research
My PhD research emphasizes understanding the relationships between the structural and material properties of drug dosage forms and their medicine release profiles. By combining mechanistic and machine learning approaches, I aim to build robust predictive models that advance the design and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
