High-shear granulation: An investigation into granule consolidation and layered growth

February 2015 - August 2018

BIOGRAPHY
I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degree at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. As part of my MSc program, I visited Doshisha University in Kyotanabe, Japan, to work on particle size analysis using the electrical sensing zone method. For my Master's thesis project, I worked on the drum coating of healing agent particles for use in self-healing concrete.
RESEARCH
I focussed on working in wet granulation in high shear mixers under the supervision of Dr. Rachel Smith. My research mostly focussed on the consolidation and growth by layering of pre-nucleated granules.
