Modelling and scaling rules of high-shear wet granulation of pharmaceuticals

Biography
I originally completed a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. During this, I spent a year at Imperial College London studying Chemical Engineering. In 2015, I received an MSc in Process Systems Engineering from Cranfield University, and a MSc in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. I have also spent almost 8 months with Process Systems Enterprise on placement, in 2015/16.

Research
My research focuses on the modelling and scaling rules of high-shear, wet granulation of APIs. In practice, this could be used to reduce the development costs of process design and scale-up using modelling tools. I am using a multi-scale modelling approach of PBM and DEM, and developing a framework for process scale-up.
