Biography I received my PhD (2021) from Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK within the faculty of Engineering and Environment. My PhD research was focused on a computational project aimed to study the fluid dynamic properties of immiscible ternary fluid systems. The significance of my research is to gain the potential to conduct numerical simulations of realistic liquid-liquid-gas systems, for example, water-oil emulsions in the air or slippery liquid-infused surfaces.
Prior to PhD, I completed my Master of Technology (M.Tech, 2015) degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech, 2011) degree in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, India. In addition, I worked for a cumulative of 4.5 years for different companies in India, such as National Fertilizer Private Limited, India, Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Private Limited, American Express Private Limited, Larsen & Toubro Infotech.
Research In Nov 2021, I joined the University of Sheffield as a research associate working with Dr Rachel Smith and Prof Jim Lister within the Particle Technology Group. I will work on a Digital Design Accelerator’ project (D-DAP) which focus on developing and implementing mechanistic, hybrid and data driven models for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and product performance. In addition, my research interests focus on the modelling and simulation of multiphase fluid systems, capillarity and wetting phenomenon.
