Biography I graduated with a First Class Honours in Chemical Process Engineering (MEng) at the University of Sheffield in 2017. During this time, I have completed a wide variety of projects, including population balance modelling of wet granulation, twin screw granulation studies, and a full process design of an aspirin manufacturing plant. I have previously held summer roles at Astrazeneca and ICL as a process technologist.
During my undergraduate studies, I have been awarded with three awards, Best MEng Research Project Presentation (2nd place), Sheffield Graduate Award and the Siddall Award for demonstrating great academic and personal achievement throughout my studies.
Research My current research is supervised by Professor Jim Litster and Dr Rachel Smith. The project is sponsored by Syngenta, and focuses on developing novel design philosophies by utilising population balance modelling for the design of solid process units; these can include granulators, mills and dryers.
