Biography
I finished my PhD (2022) in Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK within the department of chemical engineering and advanced material. My research focused on data-driven process modelling with recurrent neural network and evolutionary algorithm. The significance of my research is to develop a robust and accurate model with echo state network (ESN), long short-term memory (LSTM) optimized by covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES) for an industrial size penicillin fermentation process.

Research
I joined the particle technology group as a research associate working with Prof. Daniel Coca, Prof. Jim Lister and Dr. Xizhong Chen at University of Sheffield after completing my PhD in March 2022. This project will investigate the data-driven and hybrid models for powder-based tablet manufacturing processes. My additional research interests include machine learning methods and evolutionary algorithms used in powder technology.
